    Taj Singh

    President, CEO and Director of Discovery Silver Corp.
    Since Discovery Silver went public in 2017. He has over 20 years of experience in the mining sector in the areas of executive management, business development, capital markets, project development, engineering and operations. Singh also recently served as a board member for GT Gold Corp. (acquired by Newmont Corporation) from 2016 to 2019, and during that time he acted as Lead Independent Director, Technical Committee member and Audit Committee chair. Prior to his role at Discovery, Singh spent over five years as Vice-President of Projects & Business Development for Mexican gold producer Timmins Gold Corp. / Alio Gold Inc. (acquired by Argonaut Gold Inc.). He also spent two years as Vice President and Equity Research Analyst at Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. where his coverage universe included junior and mid-cap precious metals companies. Singh started his career with Inco Limited and spent over a decade there (including after the acquisition by Vale Limited) in various engineering and operations roles and during this time he also authored several US and European patents in the field of metals processing and refining.
