    In November 2016, Mr. Gauthier resigned for health reasons from the Canadian Council on Africa where he was President and CEO of the corporation, a not-for-profit organization devoted to the promotion of trade and economic relations between Canada and the African continent. He had been appointed President and CEO in October 2013.
    From September 2009 to August 2012, Mr. Gauthier served as the first Deputy High Commissioner of Canada to Nigeria with responsibilities for the Deputy High Commission of Canada in Lagos and as Senior Regional Trade Commissioner for Nigeria and Central Africa.

    From May 2006 to August 2009, Mr. Gauthier was Deputy Director for the African Great Lakes Region, Central Africa and Nigeria at the department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, where he had special responsibilities for coordinating Canada's bilateral relations with Nigeria. This role was in addition to the responsibilities he took on in 2003 as Deputy to Canada's Special Envoy and Ambassador for the African Great Lakes Region.

    Mr. Gauthier has also had previous overseas assignments in Egypt, Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Yemen where political developments, trade relations, and oil policies were his daily focus.

    He received in June 2005, the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers award in recognition of the dedication and commitment that characterized his long and successful career in the Foreign Service.

    *ENGR. OLAOLU AMOS OGUNDUYILE, FNSE*

    Engr. Olaolu Ogunduyile is an accomplished Electrical Engineer who has been involved in may electrification projects within and outside Nigeria. He has multiple degrees and qualifications including Higher Diploma in 1981, Post Graduate diploma and later obtained a B.Sc and M.sc all in the field of Electrical Engineering. He also has to his credit, an MBA and most recently, M.Sc in Project Management which he obtained from University of Liverpool, England.

    *Career*

    In 1982, he started his career in electrical engineering with Smeaton Engineering Nig Ltd 2, Jibowu Street Yaba, Lagos. His duties included installation design; maintenance and repair of generators, transformer and electric motors. Within a spate of two and half years and with a dint of hard work, he rose to become the site Engineer and led the site team in the execution of several projects. In July 1984 Olu moved to Kandellite Engineering Limited 6/8 Kayode Street, Oto Ijaniki, Lagos as Project Engineer where his duties included site preparation, supervision and co-ordination of site workers, and became the General Manager in July 1987.

    Engr Ogunduyile’s vast experiences gained over the years, commitment to duties, self instinct and self discipline led to the birth of KENOL NIGERIA LIMITED in February 22nd, 1988. Kenol Nig. Ltd has since grown from one (1) person’s idea to staff strength of about four hundred (400) with Head Quarters at PLOT 9, BLOCK D JUNAID DOSUMU STREET, CBD, IKEJA, LAGOS.
    The company has Branches in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lusaka, Zambia.
