  • About

Current and future demand for potash (a key input in fertiliser production) is expected to increase substantially, primarily driven by population growth and the need for food security. With significant fertiliser resources such as at Colluli, Africa is its own breadbasket. But not only is it essential to find fertiliser of sufficient scale and quality to supply the demand, but it is also important to develop these deposits in the most sustainable way possible.

We invite you to join Danakali’s investor webinar to look at potash as one of the key drivers for sustainable agriculture in Africa, and its contribution to improving socioeconomic performance across the continent.

Joining Seamus Cornelius, Non-Executive Chairman of Danakali, at this webinar will be Humphrey Knight, Senior Analyst for SOP Potash, CRU Group, and Ibrahim Sagna, Global Head & Director of the Advisory & Capital Markets Arm of Afreximbank.

Danakali Ltd. (ASX: DNK, LSE: DNK) is a fertilizer company developing Colluli, a Sulphate of Potash (SOP) project in Eritrea, East Africa. One of the most promising and advanced SOP Potash projects globally with 200 years of mine life, Colluli stands out thanks to its high-value premium product, significant diversification potential, and a commercially proven production process.

A giant resource located approximately 75km from the Red Sea coast and the shallowest known potash deposit of c. 260m tonnes of premium SOP, Colluli has an unrivaled potential to transform Africa’s agriculture and food security.

The Danakali team is on track with development, planning to enter production in 2022, and with future cash flows for Module I production already secured through an offtake agreement with one of the largest fertiliser producers, EuroChem.
