Mr. Wage is a recognised professional with extensive experience in the potash sector. Prior to joining Danakali Niels held a number of senior management roles at BHP, including VP Potash, VP Freight and VP Diamonds. He was also responsible for marketing, sales and supply chain for the Jansen Potash Project. Niels has been with Danakali since 2018 and is now leading the team, transforming the exceptional resource of Colluli into a producing world class SOP project.

Technical Background: Master’s Degree in Business Economics (MSc) from University of Amsterdam, INSEAD International Directors Programme Certificate in Corporate Governance (IDP-C).

Mr. Iyahen is Senior Director, Natural Resources at the Africa Finance Corporation. He has a wealth of practical industry experience working with ExxonMobil’s West Africa team, strategy consulting expertise for the oil and gas sector as well as financing for large scale oil and gas projects.

Technical Background: BA in Political Science from Middlebury College in Vermont, and an MBA in Strategy and General Management from Cornell University (Johnson School of Management).

Neil Gregson is an experienced resource sector investor having spent over 30 years managing investments predominantly in mining and energy companies. His previous roles included portfolio manager in J.P.Morgan Asset Management’s Global Equities Team based in London and responsible for global natural resource mandates. Prior investment roles were with CQS Asset Management as a Senior Portfolio Manager, with a focus on the natural resource sector and Credit Suisse Asset Management as Head of Emerging Markets and related sector funds. Mr Gregson began his career holding various positions at mining companies, including a role as a mining investment analyst at South African company Gold Fields. He is a qualified mining engineer.
