    Alistair Ross

    President & CEO, Director
    Alistair Ross is the President and CEO of Rockcliff Metals. With over 40 years of experience, Mr. Ross is a seasoned and accomplished leader in the mining industry, known for his passion for mentorship in order to develop true leadership potential within individuals and organizations. Before joining Rockcliff, Alistair was the Head of Mining and Milling for Vale’s North Atlantic Base Metals Operations and ran his own consultancy business.

    Alistair’s career in mining has spanned six countries across the globe, operated over 20 mines and was involved with the construction of 3 mines. He served as President of Lonmin’s South Africa Operations, the world’s third largest platinum producer, and spent many years at the former Inco’s Canadian Operations as General Manager of areas including Mining, Milling, Smelting and Copper Refining.

    Mr. Ross holds a BSc. Metallurgical Engineering, ARSM and a MSc. Mineral Process Design, DIC from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, London University, England.

    Brian R. Booth

    P. Geo. President, CEO and Executive Director of Element 29
    Brian brings more than 30 years of experience in mineral exploration throughout Canada, Europe and southeast Asia. Brian was previously CEO and Board Member of Pembrook Copper Corp., where he developed the copper resource at Pecoy in Peru. He also served as the CEO, President and Director of Lake Shore Gold Corp., where he completed an acquisition of the Bell Creek mine and mill and led the team that discovered the Timmins West, Thunder Creek and Bell Creek deep deposits. Brian began his career as a geologist on the Casa Berardi gold discoveries in Quebec. He opened Inco's exploration office in Val d'Or, Quebec and is credited with the discovery of the Douay West gold deposit in 1990 and was subsequently appointed to the board of Societe D'Exploration Miniere Vior Inc. In 1994, as Inco's Manager Exploration, Eastern North America, he conducted the preliminary assessment of the Voisey's Bay Ni-Cu-Co discovery. Brian later managed Inco's exploration office in Jakarta and was involved, through a JV with Highlands Gold, in the discovery of the Beutong copper porphyry in Sumatra. He holds a B.Sc. in Geology from McGill University and is also a member of the Professional Geoscientists of Ontario. Brian is also a director of SSR Mining Inc. and GFG Resources Inc.

    Mr. Nilsson has dedicated the last 15 years to a career in mining advisory and investment banking for various Canadian and international firms, most recently serving as Senior Vice President at an Australian multinational investment bank with a market leading mining advisory practice. He has advised on many high-profile M&A and Canadian capital markets transactions and has built a reputation for excellence and integrity. Mr. Nilsson holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physics and Exploration Geophysics from the University of Toronto and a Master in Finance from INSEAD.
